This picture inspired me to write this poem

* * *

Beyond the ivy covered window
There is a warm and cosy fire
Two lovers snuggle close together
As the flames of love grow higher

For so long she has been waiting
For her lover to return
Now like the embers in the fire
How her love begins to burn

He had been away for so long
His tender touch she missed
Now they reacquaint themselves
With a long passionate kiss

She looks more beautiful than ever
He has waited for so long
Asbence made his heart grow fonder
His love for her now is so strong

Her eyes speak of passion
Of a burning deep desire
As he lowers her very gently
Beside the golden glow of the fire

Love has found it's rightful place
As they make love where they lay
Two hearts sing a joyous song
For love's come home to stay

* * *

"My heart is like a singing bird
Whose nest is in a watered shoot
My heart is like an apple tree
Whose boughs bear the thickest fruit
My heart is like a rainbow shell
That paddles in a halcyon sea
My heart is gladder than all these
Because my love has come to me"

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

(smiles) Awwwwwwwww, you look through the windows of the heart all so well and always write of the beauty and joy mirrored in every true lovers heart! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Suetang

Why do you write something that strikes a chord that makes me want to write something from your chord

I wouldn't demean your words with the word nice

You echo "like a bird on a wire" to a "drunk in the midnight choir"
