The flow in flow out was few Only rain added water new And water was green as algae grew. Willy was strong yet sadly made In the summer was a welcome shade Where dreamers once had laid Winter has come stripping bear By the block of green ice there Sighting drifting snowflakes share Gloom |

"Only rain added water new And water was green as algae grew." Interesting, sounds like Mom's farm pond -- this poem brought strong images. Take care. |

Professor, You've stumped me on this one (no pun intended). I'll have to slide away for a while and come back to it when I have more time... ~Sadie~ |

Winter has come stripping bear By the block of green ice there Sighting drifting snowflakes share Prof., I could see this tree with the green ice and snow on it. I felt sorry for its being so alone. ![]() Hugs ![]() Ethel |

Thank you, Susan Caldwell, And it’s always a pleasure to see you enjoying my words Enough to respond. Thank you, Nakdthoughts, Do you think you’ll be thinking of the warmth it gave When you miss the shade. Thank you, Sadelite, I look forward to your further commentary Thank you, garysgirl, Hardly alone, I sure a squirrel is there, and birds in the branches, Foxes rest there before looping a path to confuse the hounds, Trees are for social places, seldom lonely. Thank you, Passing Shadows, I prefer picking the little parts of life And am pleased when they are enjoyed by a reader. Thank you, Nightshade, Yes he is, long leaves reaching to brush the ground, He has many cousins all over Gloom |

Hello, Professor! Back after a long day of playing! Now I get it! Very, very nicely done. I was tripped up by the first line before reading the rest "The flow in flow out was few" No stagnant water in this write! ~Sadelite~ |
