To be honest, I don't know if this is poetry or not. If it is, then it's my first piece of poetry other then the love notes I used to send all the fine young ladies during class in high school. Dearest Catherine To my beloved wife, beautiful woman, loving, strong and courageous Most important female in my life Today is an exceptional day Because I am loved Loved by you Blessings abound, but you are the greatest and most perfect blessing I could ever receive Greater then a new born child out of a mothers womb Or a couple embraced in laughter Greater then a sunset on the plains of your motherland You are my angel Who loves, protects and understands the very being I am You are simply wonderful Beautiful chocolate lips Your smile can move mountains You are mine And I am indebted to God for eternity Forever, because he has delivered you to me I once was lost and then you found me Loved me, carried and molded me into who I am You are like the wind on a summer's eve Gentle and calm You are mine To my beloved wife, beautiful woman, loving, strong and courageous Future mother of my children Thank you For being you [This message has been edited by Maki Riddington (01-15-2004 01:17 AM).] |

Thank you for the kind welcome. I wish I could comment on other people's poetry, but I have so much to learn about the english language, writing and poetry, that it would be unfair to cast an uneducated opinion on the work here. All in good time I suppose. |
