A ghost of a fire still burning bright The burning reminds us of the ongoing fight the fight for justice against "their" wars Against "their" peace Against "their" Profit Against them! They say that our cause is not worth a death but someone dies for our cause every minute For "Our Freedom" For "Our rights" For "Our Lives" For Us! |

this poem makes a very powerful statement about the contradictions within humanity. I enjoy the simple strength...and empathize with the passion that is the subject. |

(tears fall down my cheeks) This is EXACTLY what's going on here, and Bush is full of these deadly contradictions, making him a hypocrite! He goes to Martin Luther King's Jr's grave to honor him, yet how he has governed this nation is the opposite of Luther's non-violent, liberating approach. He calls war "peace" and vide versa somehow, and I'm not gettin' fooled from his arrogance! (sad sigh) This has happened way too long in our world and it is time we exercise those ideals again, ideals of innocence and love that don't contradict, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "You'll find something that's enough to keep you But if the bright lights don't receive you You should turn yourself around and come back home" MB20 |
