In some distant before now I held your hand and pledged my vow. You woke in me the best I am And gave to me the greatest man. I prayed for you to show me how To be a person, sane & sound, Someone another could love and see How special, God, you have made me. In perfect timing, my sweet Lord, You answered me without one word And as you promised, gave me life And blessed our souls as husband & wife. |
