* * *

I sit here in my solitude
Just passing the time of day
I am lost within my daydreams
The real world seems far away

A place where I escape to often
For it brings much joy to me
Deep within my mind
I find peace and harmony

A special time for reflection
To think of those I love
I often think of my dear father
Whose light shines from high above

I search deep inside my memory
To the times that made me smile
Then I remember the sad times
When I walked life's lonely mile

But I am rich in so many ways
This I know to be true
As I open up my heart
And share my life with you

* * *

"Step into the presence of just one person
who radiates love and you, too,
are positively affected.
Step into a moment of mindfulness
of love - think about bringing love
to the situation you are in - and you,
too, are positively affected"

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

Suetang, This is a most heartfelt write, and you are so right about this:  "Step into the presence of just one person who radiates love and you, too, are positively affected."

Hi Sue, how true these words, how happy we all are in our own solitude, must seem so strange to other people that do not have the same interest or passion, it is our way of escape, which somehow generates our creative side.
I enjoyed the read Sue, hope you had a happy New Year, all the best my friend, till next time.

Sincerely
Rick

I've shared these unique moments
in solitude
and introspection...

well done, Sue.

(smiles) Yay! Oh Sue, I love to daydream too ever so much, of my future dream girl and unicorns and rainbows and peace, as I find most joy there than when in a conscious state! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, time to go back to REMville, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

My father, too, is shining down on me.
A very thoughtful poem, worth a daydream.
