**Hi ya'll. I'm having major writers block these days, and this was just something that kind of wrote itself today. does it make any sense?** The Water the water that once was a raging river now is a quietly moving stream all the experiences I've been witness to in my eyes can be seen the water once rushed in I thought for sure I would die Learning something everyday though I've learned the release of a good cry before my life was dark and cloudy and though i still have moments of blue life is so much more than it was now that I have you The pain that once ripped through my heart Is steadily easing more and more Though now the rain sometimes drizzles No more does it pour Perhaps life is but a stream of water Once it was murky, but now it is clear As I realise to let go of some things And to hold others so dear "When life gives you sorrow, may you experience the spirit of laughter" |

This is good, but I see you trying to tie it all together with the water somehow and though in most of the cases it works, there are a few places where you try to hard...but the fact that this just flowed out of you, may be the reason the title is water;-) |

Well ... isn't water LIFE!? You created a beautiful liquid flow of words born in your heart. Love, Margherita |

Joy for the raindrop is entering the river ~M. oakley, author This writing makes much sense and I thoroughly enjoyed the moment. The imagery of the "rushing" turned to calmness is exceptional in displaying what for many is an intangible aspect. I believe we are all but raindrops, searching frantically for our whole. Most excellent find in your poem today. Thank you. McLean |
