DenyingDreams I’ll never dream you again never dream you There’ll be no more waking with your spirit swirling through me like a velvet tide, but not more pain as silken water drags me over yet another reef; there’ll be no depths to pull me, no sorrow of denying, no joy |

All's I can say is WOW!!! This poem evoked emotions part way through it and I almost cried. I'm being completely honest. I know how to constructively criticize and there is absolutely no need for criticizing here. GREAT AND FANTASTIC POEM! By the way, there are not too many poems that bring me almost to tears!!! |

Your vivid images are surpassed only by the poignancy... superb portrait of sinking into despair after dreams are shattered. |

Jamie...Dreams are pretty persistent...if you can deny them through shear willpower, then you may be one of the few. I, for one, hope your dreams come true...this was entirely too sad! |

There are some dreams I don't WANT to come true -- they bite too hard. But yes, some I do, and I thank you for the wish. ~~J |
