Now that the holidays are over I thought I would post my schizo poetry on Christmas... Christmas 1 Holiday thrills give me the chills Far and away feelings must stay Lights a plenty energy abused Trees stacked and lonely snow covers all Thoughts going back to the nice fall Shopping frenzy slakes capitalisms thirst Liberal idealists bubbles burst Frozen ground depressing sounds Reindeer leavings all around What do we owe this time of cheer Solstice celebrations we fear Christmas 2 Season’s greeting love is meeting Stories and songs Celebrate the winter sun Playing snow is so much fun Families gather giving gifts Love and peace too often ifs Many cultures Many faiths Celebrate the winter sun Seeking joys and lots of fun Enjoying seasons of the sun So gather we around in love Some thinking thoughts above Many feeling closer still Now happiest times will be our fill Open hearts and minds in glee Darkened thoughts and pains should flee Timeless lights surround the night Making many spirits bright |
