The fiery sphere of the sun descended upon the horizon
Seemingly burning the forested dryness that further defaced the infertile land
Draining the last flaming droplet of pride from that determined sun
Until it disappears in defeat behind the victorious trees
The air becomes crisp and bitter instantaneously
Stepping outdoors is like biting into a Granny Smith apple
Crunchy and fresh and sour, strangely satisfying
The triumphant foliage stands shriveled and yet erect
Limbs jutting out every which mangled way
Like a wizened war hero who stands tall despite his shrunken body
They seem unaware of the fate that will eventually befall them
Ruthless decapitation, they do not flinch
They succumb as their limbs are plucked
Like chickens being feathered for supper
But they do not die a dignified death—no
They are chopped as lumber and sentenced to death
Predestined to burn the flames of midnight
They are cremated into embers of lost victory
The champions are gone but alas
New champions have risen
They take their stance in front of the sunset
Ready to do as their forefathers have done
They revel in their bitter suicide
Stand just as tall as their predecessors
Exuding their arrogance and omniscience
As if the way they think act believe
Is the only way to think act believe
It’s amazing how much people have in common with trees

i'm a fan katie. which is much better than being a hair dryer. unless of course you're into that kinda thing. I'm not here to judge.

Nice thought is that having pillaged they move on leaving anyone they bought locally to face the same fate as those who didn't

Poetry was, slow getting into it, emotion builds like an Olympic looking towards Gold.

Europe and everywhere else destroyed all they had and now tells others they dont approve of them destroying their own lives.

Enough comment from me.
