In Your Poetic Mind

{The Ocean is beautiful at night:}

Stretched beyond sight in imagination
of shadows and sand --

I hold no regrets, until evening blends
my thoughts into a pattern of black,

I wish for colors of dusk,       in woven
fabrics, and orchestras of sound,
but the logic of wind    blows them silently apart,

Like fireflies   they remain untouchable

Sometimes:

a gentle mist       dances provocatively,
making waves jealous       of time forgotten,

leaving traces along
an island of audience

Pavilions of light
embrace tidal    waters,          feeding
sand it’s mellowing       color of life,

Where:

Falling from scattered        stars

A tender heart beats,               embraced in silent storms,
for a mindful soul

weeping still in

winter

~~**~~
This morning theres a calm I cant explain
By the time I recognize this moment it will be gone,
I will bend light pretending it lingers on

Goodness, Lauren, you are good!!
All of it is beautiful, but this part...

I wish for colors of dusk,       in woven
fabrics, and orchestras of sound,
but the logic of wind    blows them silently apart,

Like fireflies   they remain untouchable

This part is really breathtaking!
Hugs, sweet lady
Ethel

Green Eyes I was initially going to quote part of your write: "I wish for colors of dusk, in woven fabrics, and orchestras of sound" but then as I read on I couldn't embrace or capture only part of it because the whole thing is beautiful. Thank you

Very well done Lauren,  I too enjoy that
part of the sea, the shore,  the dwindle
of light until dark...such peace.

Lauren,

This is absolutely breathtaking!

Gosh that is beautiful! I'm in awe

Take care hon.

Goodness Lauren, it doesn't get any better than this!!

Love the peace and tranquility, and the way you make it dance in the wind.
