As mists come to cloud and clear away
My heart is opened…like a music box
What held me dear to visions past?
Might it be a proclamation of the future?

The identity of what is gone
To name what is missed and mighty

As able as I am to sing the songs of tomorrow
Build the dreams of a life long quest
Stand on my own and bow to the watchtower
Symmetry that lacks the baseline of the note

Turning in storm, before the cold can crust over
White blankets isolate the sun away to spring

My arms fall limp in consolation of the stir
And I long to be held to the beating heart
Of love

And from above, this tower high
a lover's words shall gently fall
upon the ear in aching sigh
with tenderness and waking call.

And from the stir of silken dress
and hands bejeweled from kingly realm
A woman sighs in her egress
to take with him a queen's due helm.

You have a touch that caresses the
mind most softly...in all that you
write...

It's what we all want..
