Five a.m.
The porch light shows
A slant of bright;
On my side-yard garden.
*
All snow is gone,
Odd and warm
This third day
Of a year, renewed.
The suns mock beam
Rays-down
On penstemon-
Rosettes reflecting
Purple-burgundies
And reds,
From what few leaves
The beastly frost
Has left, unchewed.
*
A looking forward faith
Comes over me,
No need for hope
Of natures gifts
Or begs for charity.
I know will rise,
In late-May
Pushed up reeds,
With buds
Where bells will be;
Silently.... chiming
In promised-summer heat
*
Back to winter
And reality, where
Harvest moon-
Hosta
(leaves rotted,
Translucent)
Show behind
Evergreen,
Sage
And golden-thyme
Dormant, but healthy.
*
I bend to break
A stem and eat,
And the message taste
Of herbal
Essence takes away
(A moment)
Winters gloom with
Looking forward thoughts:
Of how the sun
Would be full up
This early hour;
Would this be the month of June.
*
end

Hmm, I detect a gardener's touch in this write.
Enjoyed the taste of thyme this time of year, and the image of penstemons.

I really enjoyed this write.  I wanted to tell you my favorite part, but every time I read it I had a new favorite!  So I'm just going to save it in my library.  It is so artistic.  ~K~

(does happy dance) Yay! Oh Ford, the spring is my favorite season of all because everything blooms and because I am a Catholic, and we have the Advent and the Lenten season, with hope in my heart, it is so rewarding to see everything blossom and the birdies sing and the sun come out to play, yay! (big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, yay, may you be warm and comfortable this winter and may spring tantalize you with joy, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ford, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
