FREEDOM So often taken for granted,,, by those who don't care.... Defended with blood and tears,,,, by those who choose to see... It's ours to enjoy,,,, tho many don't understand.... We are condemed by the condemed,,,, labeled evil by small minds.... Why? Freedom is never free,,, the cost is unfathomable... We are called down upon,,,, simply because of this wonderful gift.. Given out of love and pride.. to many who don't see the reality All of Americas children,, eyes open eyes closed Feel free,,to share it,,,, it's there for one,,, and all I wish all could find the true happiness I have found,,in the eyes of Mike |

We are condemed by the condemed,,,, labeled evil by small minds.... Why? Freedom is never free,,, the cost is unfathomable... I love this part of the poem the most. It expresses so much within the words and that is sadly the truth. Small minds and close-mindedness are the reasons behind most of the issues of war and conflict in the world today. Anyways, great read!!! |

thank you all for such wonderful replies,,,an extra kiss to Alby,,,,,anyway,,,this one is for my dad, he had passed not to long ago,,and was heavily on my mind on Veterans Day,,,,I was raised to respect the freedoms, and those who provide the,,,,,but , learned on my own to love and treasure them,,,,,again,,thanx all, and hugs all around Michelle I wish all could find the true happiness I have found,,in the eyes of Mike |
