If You Get Dizzy in the Southern Hemisphere, Do You Spin Clockwise? Free fall is not the right term nor even suspended animation more like levitation held up by some insubstantial power felt but not seen The weight of comfort has been spilled The pull of caring has gone slack as I lie adrift unsettled and unmoved The hollow of this empty bark riding high and vulnerable echoes its failed mission in useless rhymes and verses unheard And since I appear invisible to you you will not see me reach for the tail feathers of a brave red bird rising from the ashes © 010104 |

you know I clicked on this one drawn by the title thinking perhaps a funny little piece was in store...what I got was something completely different and complete breathe stopping. It was deffinitly a heartstring puller, loved it. ~Live and Laugh~ Because of you I laugh a little harder, smile a little more, and cry a little less |

This falls into itself, then evolves upward again... It's beautiful, Sir. Thank you. |

You are great. That poem was wonderful. My father used to tell me, when you look at something and you can't imagine making it any better, it's perfect. Well my dear....I can't imagine making what you wrote any better.... |

touching and wonderful! turning mirrors upside down won't make dust fall off the ground, hiding wounds won't ease the pain, sleep won't make you whole again... |

Lotsa lovely images and how you managed to make such a sad tone seem to float mystifies me... and since I feel qualified to answer your query having been dizzy in a southern atmosphere all of my life--the answer is, in fact, yes--but if I'm very quiet inside, not only do I spin clockwise, but I will come to rest pointing North with startling accuracy. ![]() Love ya, E. |

The answer to the title is "Yes, clockwise, sideways and down under". The response to the poem is "Oh MY!" Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |
