Reflections of a “First” Day

Easy silk strewn morn
Murmurings waited while a
Day simmered, lazy ~
Resolutions find promise
New Year looking quite secure

~*~

And the novel will soon
Be finished.

Ha!

The lazy simmer is such a smooth touch.
You're writing is always so soft and gentle.

Nicely done Karilea~

This is beautiful, K.  I feel it (yes, I am coming to understand my own intuition...hmmm, again through the power of poetry.)  Resolutions will become realities this year.

As for me, I am taking on the world one thought at a time.  I hope that makes sense to you! (smiles)

Another hug for you, my friend.

Sunshine,

"Easy silk strewn morn

Day simmered, lazy ~"

You make it so easy to imagine this feeling.
Sunshine, I love the alliterations in this!

When a New Year comes to mind
Can resolutions trail behind?
Or do they twist up in the wind
for we've not the will to bind?
I wish for you your muse is kind
and cobwebs peel like empty rind.
And in your thoughts you come to find
that every phrase is neatly aligned.

Good writing..as always.  KJ
