There was a guy named "Gimo" he graced my home last night-- he smiled and said "Geronimo" was his name by his birthright. I thanked him for the shortcut then and said it just might well have been two syllables too much for me So "Gimo" was his name-o. He smelled of suede (or so he claimed) I smelled oils dubious-- He said his grandpa owned the range (Geronimo was flame-glo?) But he had the whitest teeth and fangs of his appeared on whim, I thought I'd like a taste of him but Gimo was the same--oh? Shame on me and shame on her for such the pretty pair made we (Gimo was her name, yanno) And shame on her, and tsk, to me. Happy New Year. Heh. |

Chuckling, and ready to throw a pillow at you for putting that tune into my head! You are horrible! It's MUCH to early to be acting like a little girl! |

blush...I feel like I have to apologize for this one. I really need to get the tunes outta my head before I start writing sometimes... and I'd love to clarify this one, but it seems some things are best left to the imagination--grin--which is sorta the point of me poem. Happy Belated New Year from one tired witch. |

Serenity, You did it! I just got that tune out of my head after it caused me to misspell banjo three times in a poem I posted called Robert, Guitar and "BANGO" Maker! Aw, the affects of those childhood songs! Please don't try the Chipmunk Song!!!!! Just kidding! Sadie [This message has been edited by Sadelite (01-02-2004 10:36 PM).] |
