Randomizing===
Curtain Call of 2003

The snow makes its accumulation
as the day grows by inches.
I’m prone to relaxation
as the year goes, by yards.

In the theory of relativity
time is relative, for sure.
It can make or break relations
when sans the blood du jour.

A saying laments, “One may pick his friends,
not so with his relations,”
but I, for one, am glad
that they’re there through thick and thin.

They may quarrel and spite each other
when the tough is getting tougher,
yet relatives they’ll always be
even when the going is getting rougher.

Therefore, there must be something certain,
from beginning to the end,
it would be a wise endeavor
to make each relative a friend.

For we all are friends in need,
though some take time to discover,
we must be friends, indeed,
for they surely make better lovers.
