Don’t blame me for loving you, there’s nothing I can do when God upturns my energy and lands it at my feet. But who is God? A beast of myth, an artist, sculpture, goldsmith, a withdrawn and distant parent or in me a tiny fragment? A fragment of the all there is, don’t ask my why but ‘tis I must see the love in me like pools around my feet. A swimmer; God must like the sea the waves of passion deep in me and how I thunder then am calm protected in his cooling balm. Don’t blame me; see how he smiles and rules from far my state of mind but too my heart he tests and prods till I believe I am of God. And so I am, and so I do say him and I both love you! god......will we ever know what he really is? male, female, warm, cold,,,,,,we all have the desire to know,,,,even if we don't realize it....i like the way you state the questions,,,,,sculpter,,,,goldsmith,,,etc.....popular belief would say he/she is all the above,,,,,,we each have our own touch of god,,,,,hopefully, we find a way to touch it back Michelle I wish all could find the true happiness I have found,,in the eyes of Mike |

I guess we'll never know what god is till our passing. Your poem is great and it really puts those questions of god in perspective |

Thank you all for reading and for commenting. Yes, Martie, but as God moves us so he stops us too and says, "Look!" And we look every which way but within. It's like shopping - everything at eye level is taken in but do we lift or bend our eyes - nope, not usually. Happy New Year! |
