As I gaze upon your face While you tie your sons shoes, Do I dare be so brazen, And tell you, you’re my muse? As we lay hip to hip In the sweet afterglow Tell me, do I let it pass these lips? Shall I attempt to stay awake, For fear that in my sleep The silence I may break When you catch me in my stare Do I let you in on That of which I am already aware Do I tell you, do I let go of this control? And express to you that which you Have left upon my soul |

I enjoyed... you could build on it a bit or leave it as is, but teh muse for whom it was written should see this.. |

thank you sunshine! and cpat..yes I actually was going longer with it...but cut it off as sometimes I tend to get to lengthy and I didn't want to be redundant...so I stopped...thank you for the suggestion..and as far as letting him see this...I dare not.... not yet anyhowThere are only three beings worth of respect; the priest, the solider and the poet; To know, To Kill and to create. |
