Bridge of Broken Trust In the beginning a bridge built on strong ties of love will capture the qualities of friendship, compassion, patience and the all encompassing tie of trust. As long as trust remains, nothing will drown the faith of love in the turbulent waters of life. A bridge with a solid foundation, with cured beams of seasoned wood, will weather the storms that will cross your path leading to your life's destiny. The storm of illness, death in families, your income lost and even your faith may be put in peril of destruction. So many trials in a lifetime. If your bridge of love is built on a strong foundation it will last. But! A bridge made on a mound of sand will crumble and fall. Words holding no truth, saying one thing, but doing another. Saying, “I Love You,” then going to another who is hidden in the shadows of deceit. Like a bridge, a cord of wood starting to rot, so does mistrust grow. As you go through life be careful of what you choose and build your bridge of unbroken trust and everlasting love. Love Bon-Bon [This message has been edited by Bonnie j (12-30-2003 11:50 AM).] |

This is so very true, but love can be killed, too. If both don't work at it. It takes two. Never a truer word spoken there Bonnie when it comes to relationships. There has to be a firm foundation. Terri~ Well I will go down with this ship |

Good words and beliefs...although that strong foundation can give way under stresses that you have no control over. Some can be repaired but more often they need to be torn down. I lived it...held it together longer than most and one never really knows the stresses that can do that until it is often too late. and Happy New Year, Bonnie Maureen |

Can I ask Why everything was about building. Love builds with the help of each. It doesn't need physical buildings. That is for when you want to argue. Dave |
