A tin plate rolling down the street Steady drip-drip in the drains A hundred trees get stripped by the wind One of the leaves bounces across my path Paws tapping on the asphalt Glasspacks and bass in the distance Only for a minute, then peace is broken By the car alarm across the street ©2003 Fink L. Stiltskin Visit Wrong in the Head for more poetry, plus art, music, and more! That guy that told you honesty is the best policy is a big, fat liar. |
