A tin plate rolling down the street
Steady drip-drip in the drains
A hundred trees get stripped by the wind
One of the leaves bounces across my path

Paws tapping on the asphalt
Glasspacks and bass in the distance
Only for a minute, then peace is broken
By the car alarm across the street
