Winter has arrived and it’s two inches deep. I think it would be good to just go back to sleep. ©December 29, 2003 Whispers in the wind grow much quieter. Ocher blades of grass barely stir in the breeze. A coverlet of white cushions the scene. Naught has come to soil winter’s new page. What might be etched upon this day’s journal? Virginia, wouldn't it be such a treat to open up the news...and see nothing but good things...without terror and death being so much a part of our day? The snow, pure and white...before the first steps... such peace. Thanx for this, it brings one to thought... and dreams. |
