Torn and stitched my capsulated heart followeth
to the bottomless pit cloaked in shallowness and sorrow;
The throne of kings hath no power
to rule the destiny that awaits me in the unrelenting tommorow

Torn and sculptured my capsulated heart falleth
into an abyss where thy love neither begins nor starts;
Within the rememberance of your love my heart calleth
To the pilgrimage of thy army’s march:

In the midst of battle my knights layeth down their swords
They grow weary of the struggle to seize the castles of thy lords

My heart cannot prosper for the ruins of thy sanctity hath forsaken me
Fall cometh and within the still leaves my heart layeth down to bleed

My capsulated heart empty and torn
Will find no rest my love, for my blood runneth down thy sword.

Great imagry here...took my mind elsewhere...
Perhaps the tapestry of your previous poem.
What care mended the heart that once was shattered...but that of love that heals and nurtures rebirth.
A cup that is full, has no room for more.
Well done.

Forlorn and forsaken are feelings to reckon with to be sure,
as is the heart that we allow to harden in our state of sorrow.

Great poem, loved your title too.

My God! how passionately written!...oh my heart aches with yours....with every beat of pain...I feel it inside your words....

Welcome to PIP....if this is just a taste, I can't imagine the main dish....with poetry like this, your heart should be healed in no time....for the glow of your words attracts moths to a flame...

Open your eyes, open your mind, open your heart, let me come in and show you love.....~ARH

Hello Ravenwolf

Your words took me to another place in time and for a moment I forgot I was sitting here at my computer.
