At a local Dunkin Donuts, (at 2 am,
the only place still open in this town),
enjoying a toasted bagel with eggs, ham,
and cheese, you suddenly feel bound
to college life, and you can hardly grasp
that in a year, you’ll graduate, and worried,
you walk up to the counter and ask
the kind lady for another cup of coffee.
You always feel dejected during winter.
Not finding the words, you only draw
a question mark upon the foggy window,
and walk outside under the falling snow...

Check out my poetry here:

The answers come.
Usually not in the way we want them,
but come, they do.

You've captured quite a slice of life here,
so simply and nicely done!

I like toasted bagels with plain cream cheese.  I prefer Tim hortons. but those are only found in Canada

This is the first time I've read your work -- I liked.  You've captured an essence here -- a moment of reality!  Happy 2004 and best wishes.

looking for to this feeling yet....

joy has its own justice. and dreams are languid and lawless. and everything bows to beauty, when it's fierce and when it's flawless...
