Hold that pose for memory ready now, please smile and remember for eternity another Christmas time. A season of goodwill, they say, hip, hip, hurrah, it comes to go and can I say like love one day it too must come and then must go? A parade of thoughts, of wishes, hope, some dream, some steal, some kill and maim, some play pretend, some go back home, some change and some remain the same. And most of us mere puppets dance and sing to tunes made for the weak for we can’t know to dance or chance the way of heart so soft and meek. Or strong perhaps to live, to breathe, to say and pray, God help me please! Helen / 24 December 2003 |

Nicely written, Helen! BTW - Are you related to Toerag? I noticed that line about stealing, killing, and maiming, and I immediately thought of how Toerag writes poetry. It could have been a coincidence, but you need to protect your reputation a little better, Helen. lol |

Thank you all for your responses and I wish you all a Merry Christmas. Oh, and BTW, I've had someone steal my suff almost word for word before but now I'll read the poster you mentioned out of interest. I will, however, bear in mind that some of us feel the same about some things. Oh, and yes, He does hear although sometimes disagrees! |
