in perfect metrical time
nobody is the wiser

all the time

to always wonder why
was it me
or was it you?

The corner of my heart
where you did once reside
now only a haven
for harlots of misery

I try to say
I love you
but I don't believe
in love anymore

Feeling just a sick drug
to kill you real slow
courtesy

your local Hallmark

So with nothing left say
nothing left to feel
I can only acknowledge your existance
and walk away

So I sit in the dark
counting down the hours
as my soul bleeds its final
drops
in perfect metrical
time
