I gave you my heart; you took away my innocence... I asked for something in return and you responded, "enough." It was my voice that tagged the walls of the pyramids Searching for the passageway to the eternity of your love. If my words mean nothing to you, disregard this, But somewhere in Africa, where the land is fruitless and dry, The elders of the tribe will recite my poetry to their goddess, And the clouds will rumble with a compassionate cry...
