a voice from the musicbox

he makes me want to crack open my chest
just to stop the time
just to check my pulse
just to know he makes this heart feel like
a prisoner behind these ribs
a jack in the box
a caged bird
a coccooned creature
asking incessantly
"are you the one?"

joy has its own justice. and dreams are languid and lawless. and everything bows to beauty, when it's fierce and when it's flawless...
