And it was such a hard dream.
  But that hard dream helped
me cover the day I was a fool.
  And those dreams deliver
tears.  Who knows where?

So I fixed my eyes upon the
  battlefield and the more
I conquered the enemy the
more I had to cover the day
     I was a fool.

And I covered that day with salt.
I covered the battlefield with salt.
And I covered the enemy on
the battlefield with salt.

    It was a sweet season
  I had been delivering.

Dreams.  They're hard man.
  Because you're in them
whether you want to be or not.

And reality.  Who knows?
It gives you a whole lifetime
of days to be a fool.

Days you can be sure you want
    to be in.

And days covered with salt.

pretty neat...I'd never thought of this, but it's a cool perspective

Great lines here.  And the title is perfect.

Thanks Duncan.  Dreams are so strange.   Sometimes the thought comes to me that we are in a dream of some great giant or god and he has just not awakened.
