On my beaches weep the tears of timeless destiny Liquid jewels unsettled and sent free fall finally Wearing natures footprints on the contours of the spill Seemingly applauding as the tidal waters fill My eyes assume the pouring of this overwhelmed estate The earth collects in swells of soundless flow that will not sate All mysteries washed silver in the liberated drain To water where it reaches all of life to drink the rain The sky is blushed a ruby red in sympathetic stir And all pent up emotion renders sprinkled hope for sure Where I continue standing seems a shaky precipice Yet all the beauty culminates in times as true as this So very many aspects of the facets of the flow For certain without sorrow never happiness to know And if I must succumb to what is settled on the edge Then certainly I've lived a life spent fully free by pledge Copyright Kkh 11/21/03 |

The sky is blushed a ruby red in sympathetic stir And all pent up emotion renders sprinkled hope for sure Where I continue standing seems a shaky precipice Yet all the beauty culminates in times as true as this ~*~ I suppose if I continue reading metered poetry such as this, it may rub off on me. [Nah, that will never happen... ] So I will just read for my pleasure... |

I borrowed a few lines...thought I might add a few... Smile You! My eyes assume the pouring of this overwhelmed estate The earth collects in swells of soundless flow that will not sate All mysteries washed silver in the liberated drain To water where it reaches all of life to drink the rain And out of dismal darkness to the waters flowing free upon the mighty oceans, and the greyish granite scree Where once a lovely maiden stood in hopes of evermore upon the mighty oceans sands before the ocean’s floor. A silken dress of finest cloth, on shoulders creamy white in search of he who once had been her savior and her knight Upon the mighty oceans, questing life, liberty A maiden stands in silken tress, a beauty he must see. |
