Flatness, dampness, grey and blue with
balls of pink on three long poles.
They move as if they're perfect bass lines
the world seems fine when you're at feed.

Life tries to hide in sand and mud,
in dirt beneath the lack of waves,
but big will filter tiny out
to feast until there's no more greed.

Ridiculed legs - perfect bent.
Neck up down smoothly sways.
Adaptation-perfect bill
so crooked. Sweeping graze.

Startled take off, they have seen me
sky before was opal blue.
Now there's freedom-flocking-flying-
flaming-bright-pink-air-to-view.

Line bent central oval.
Stubs propel, no haste.
Beating pure rock colour.
Deeper rhythm pace.

Go pink flame,
your clownish mask
hides dignity and
Rock and roll.

Go pink flame,
your clownish mask
hides dignity and
Rock and roll.
