Father Time

the grey blue stain of creeping time awaits
the last lingering ray of light to fade
with the fall of autumn, leaves
a golden season of decay.

Resistance

Not summer, winter, spring;
Autumn on the hardened blocks.

Defiant greens linger still.
The last ray of light is failing.
