Surf City Fourteens

A covey of the little things
go tittering at the sudden responsibility
of following their new breasts down
from the surf shops to the pier.
It is a new thing to them,
to have directions thus surveyed,
pointed out by soft tines that don’t align
with last season’s expectations
or unless properly harnessed, each other.
“Go this way, go that way,”
they intimate in Breastspeak,
and of course they are all correct.

Just ask the boys.

PS! You and blonde moments seem mutually exclusive....but who knows, maybe a stroll down the Huntington Beach pier some sunny spring day would cure that....

Hi, Sunshine -- I'm content not to understand that particular mistique.... but it's fun to hear 'em giggle and squeak as they make such huge efforts to be nonchalant....all the while being so utterly and undeniably aware.....

Mine was a pier at the "swimming hole" that I went a tittering down...it was a proud day...
