No more whining words. No more ego-expression. Passion misled me into this dead-end alley of non-stop repetition of old boring words. Now this is to be my last post and only if truth has been found worth sharing will I express it. But poetry is more and more losing its glamour for me, seeing the deludge of it here. Words are as empty as I wish my mind was. Good bye my fellow craftspeople good bye now Amen. |

It's always interesting to see where our muse will take us. I like to think that on days such as this, or what it appears you are having as a "bad day", the words just seem randomly uninteresting. But that next day, when the muse bites hard and everything seems crystal clear, you'll write again. Won't you? |

You're right, I tried to give up many times over the years. Thanks for the wise words, Sunshine. |

There are some vices that are good for us. We think the muse isn't listening. What it is, is we are perhaps a bit jaded for the day, hour, moment, and think "who cares?" One never knows. If poetry doesn't put on weight, harm your health, and is otherwise generally good for one's overall nature... why in the world would you want to give it up? Oh yeah, I remember. Because when she gets kicked into high gear, she won't let us sleep. Ah well, like I said, it's at least non-fattening. |
