Philodendron House vine, Philodendron: Its life is to hang there, Give itself to my entryway. So I define it, but I didn't ask The plant for buy-in on my plan. I made the assumption, Thinking that I Owned it. |

I used to have so many plants, that they owned me, now I am down to about 5, and they probably wish for a different owner...lol...career's and plants just don't mix well......but plants and poetry do, this is wonderful |

Neither does one own a dog, or cat, or any animal with spirit. Nice to think of plants with spirit... very nice. |

Assumptions can always lead to surprises. *S* I like this very much, my friend... on many levels. *S* I wonder what it says about me that I have a degree in horticulture and yet choose my plants based on which can thrive on benign neglect. *S* |

I had to stop by for this one, Ed. I think of your Oleander...I think perhaps everyday since I read it. So, I couldn't miss this...NO WAY! And I am so very glad I didn't miss it. Yes, you are so right. I hate when people say they own a pet...I never thought about plants...now, I will. Love this... Patricia |
