You dress me in eye thoughts
remembrances of days
when sigh songs were sung
in shimmer moments
spent listening to the quiet
of your voice.

I bask in the light of
your mind gifts.
A flicker of flame
shines through the dark
warming thought places,
leaving a damp need of soothing
and sating desires with
lover sighs while languishing
in your mind touch....

If I once again whispered~
would you remember?

Revised for the challenge with thanks to Local Parasite for providing the link.

It's better than I could have planned..
it's made me who I am...

I'm very happy that someone chose our missing poet Dark Stranger (if indeed, this is who you dress as).

Thanks much for playing along, and By the way! The poem is wonderful.

Indeed when one dresses in the dark of the stranger life is viewed in a totally different light.   Thank you Ed for the enjoying and for remembering one of our friends and one of the best....
Yes, he is missed sorely....his words and friendship...

My thanks to all and I am so very glad that you enjoyed.  As M~ said, anyone who did not have the opportunity to read our fellow poet and friend Dark Stranger/Owg should check out his poetry it is definately one of a kind and can never be imitated.  Hugs to all.

He does have his very unique and accomplished way of painting a scene.  I would say, you are an apt and fine reader of such a poet...

Well done.
