Blind heart walking into oblivion
underneath the eyes of cold reality
kissing the pale lips of fate
calculated embrace
dancing mindlessly in the shadows
of dark imagination
the wind blows
snuffing candle's last light
cold steel
shatters my reality
lifeless, loveless shell
crying in a corner.

"kissing the pale lips of fate"

Loved that line!

As I finished the last glass of wine and the candles flickered their end, I do believe I slipped (his hers) mind. Good write. Reminded me of one awful night. THANKS.

(big hugggssssssss) This is sad but beautiful, dearest friend, know that every end has a new beginning as unexpected as a public service announcement! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Brad, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
