ARMONA TEEN

Sad to read about
her death,
young and innocent
a girl before bloom
now dead
shot in the head
by her best friend
with her father’s
gun.
Tragic and over-
whelmingly sad
to imagine all the
pains of those
affected.
A young flower
cut down fast
none to blame
but her best friend
a bullet, a gun
and a father whom
she was everything
for.
Suffering all around
us here and we
even if not affected
directly, cannot ever
anymore turn away
just to forget
life is suffering-
if not now
for me
then later it
will definitely be
-come days full
of loss and despair
losing what we
love
getting what we
hate
rarely attaining a state
of equanimous happiness
for nothing in this world
can be true happiness.
Oh-Armona Teen I
truly grief your death
worlds that may
become are meant
to cease-
temporality of all
all just a vanishing
a glimpse of beauty
and happiness only
found in forgetfulness
the more you
awake the more
you see life
full of suffering.
The ups and downs
cruising through
cruel canyons
of emotional power-cycles,
cut by their
sharp edges
we are doomed
mercilessly full of pain
bleeding our hearts
dry
seeking some permanence
sweet sweet
Armona Teen
now lies dead
soon forgotten
pushed memories
of you away
for those continue
to live have
to go on
without you
life less meaningful
for some
without you
shadows creep
longer and sunlight
lost some sparkles
we grief, am crying
for you symbolize
tragic loss
another fact
of this cruel
life.
