I sit at my dest With a hand full of clay Didn't know what I was making So I let my hands play. Pound after pound Slap after slap Hit after hit Tap after tap. The shape starts to form Right in front of my eyes 2 hands holding a ball I press it together softly but tight. I draw on the lines That separate the sea from the land I wasted my time, put in my devotion, Gave in my sould, used all the straingh up in my hands. I look at my project As it sits there on my desk I knew there was somethingmissing Whatever it was, wish there was someone i coul ask. I added peace and love But hate and violence tore it apart And when I found my work shattered into pieces It really broke my heart. I start to glue the pieces together And this is what I see Masters of deception Bringing forth corruption and poverty. With there'd be something I can do And I know I can, but yet I can't I'll have to start anew And give it a total repaint. They say that life is a work of art Created by the one that lives on these lands Well then if thats true Then why cant we live our lives peacefully? Like the ball placed in those 2 precious hands? |

My typing is really horrible. but when i was writing this peom i also drew out a picture of two hands holding the world untill my entire scetch book got stolen. |
