The words came so utterly close…
Hugging them to my breast
For a long thoughtful moment
"English Folksong Suite" looked
Dramatically into my heart
Like a master’s flame burning
Aromatic into my core for eternity
Pearly whites amazing substance
As my boat sails into morning
Romanticizing places, perceiving a strangeness
Not apparent, yet mysteriously exotic
Giving occasion to reach out and touch the brim
Wondering what lives in a “serenade for strings”
(Violins)
No doubt to a stretching and extended space
Where the mind’s eye soars or’r flesh of waves
Offspring unwinding and springing future’s coming
Such automatic innocence, gallantry’s bright plumage
Playing the sunlit, water feeding me its plums
Duration noticing something between two moments
Some harmonious naves riddle with medley
Where my own tears fall away
Discovering this zenith, I no longer knowing what was
Nor what is to be, yet my mind awakened
I marvel at this consciousness swarming in air
Dispelling all cares. perfuming winks at me
Days newly arrive or’r a beautiful south wind
Blossoming meadows and warm sand
Building a fire in a Song "Before Sunrise"
Wrote this last night while loosing myself in Fantasia's Green Sleeves
