Beneath the moon
I picked the lock
And heard in croon
The tick of clock

I heard a sound
And felt the thrill
Of waiting round
For good or ill

And somewhere near
I heard a voice
Till led by fear
I made my choice

I scuttled quick
Behind the door
Just feeling sick
But needing more

A whispered gasp
A breath in time
A muffled rasp
In darkened clime

My heart stood still
My breath stopped too
So all my will
Could see this through

A stifled grunt
A shuffle, small
I take a punt
And  lose it all

I've no more tries
And feel the strain
"You're it" he cries
"Let's play again!"

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

(pants, trying to regather breath) OK, you've got to stop doing that, scaring me like that! (giggles) I love this piece, sweet friend, yay, I'll play again, but under one condition, you're it, hehehe! (zooms) I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kethry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Oh so sneaky are we this eve...
a card or two up your sleeve...
A cry and moan,  a sudden gasp..
A screech and groan, chilling grasp...

You're It....yeah, right!!!

Great write...had me going too!

Beloved one, now this playful piece is so very much you, and I can see you now playing with Jay, and I bet you both are extremely good at it too. When you consider that I had to hunt this out, I would say your hiding skills are particularly good, or is that simply because they went and changed the forum before I found you?

I love it, your writing is always great and when it is as playful and fun filled as this it is even more so. Okay go write some more, what do you mean you don’t have time, yes beloved you do, you have until the weekend before you have too much to do. The magic packing fairy will do it all, won’t she? Hehehehehehehe, next week approaches with much speed.

Love you always

this was a clever piece indeed, both
your wit and talent along with your
fun loving side shine through clearly!
take care.
