Beneath the moon I picked the lock And heard in croon The tick of clock I heard a sound And felt the thrill Of waiting round For good or ill And somewhere near I heard a voice Till led by fear I made my choice I scuttled quick Behind the door Just feeling sick But needing more A whispered gasp A breath in time A muffled rasp In darkened clime My heart stood still My breath stopped too So all my will Could see this through A stifled grunt A shuffle, small I take a punt And lose it all I've no more tries And feel the strain "You're it" he cries "Let's play again!" Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

Beloved one, now this playful piece is so very much you, and I can see you now playing with Jay, and I bet you both are extremely good at it too. When you consider that I had to hunt this out, I would say your hiding skills are particularly good, or is that simply because they went and changed the forum before I found you? I love it, your writing is always great and when it is as playful and fun filled as this it is even more so.
