I sit out on the porch
Rocking in my rocking chair
Listening as the wind blows by
And listen as the crickets
Make their music glide through the air
And mix with the harmony of the frogs
Low ,gruff ribbits

Cold hands means a warm heart

Cute....very nice picture you paint here!
Makes me wish for a seat on your porch swing.

I always have that wish. Those frogs are actually servants of this little sorcerer singing their own song to you.

Julie, very nice.
With a few tweaks,
you would have a Tanka!
Good work!

(smiles) Oh Julie, this is beautiful, sweet friend, I love sitting with my grandparents out on the front porch every summer I come out to visit them, I am blessed they are still living so I can get to know all about them and their stories! (big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Julie, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
