THE RAIN

today is enveloped
in rain,
since April now
it hasn't rained
but now
long wait
is over
rain pounding
on the warehouse
I bath in it
celebrate
its sweet
scent
imbibe
it and wish
it to get
stronger.

Now Yin
is finally
countering
imbalance
the Tao
is complete
November 8
a happy day
the clouds cry
and streets flood
with their sweet
nectar.

Life soaks
up new
energy
scorched earth
and dried out
vegetation
will revitalize
such is the
cyclic nature
here in
central California
where rain
is absent
for six months.

Being a Native Californian myself, I always smiled at the term "liquid sunshine" as well as the song "It never rains in southern California..."

(sigh) Here in Colorado we rarely get any rain either, and we have had severe droughts the past few years! (big hugggsssssss) We are literally turning into Death Valley II I feel, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Magic, thank you for sharing!

I love the rain, and that cozy feel it gives to make you want to stay in, and cuddle. Curl up on the couch, and watch a movie with a cup of hot chocolate. Love it!!
