Softly Creased Memories
~*Marge Tindal*~

I loved you so dearly
Way-back-when
and then again
as yesterday came to lay
in softly creased memories
across my heart
I felt the all of us again~

Knowing that somewhere, tonight,
you are remembering too
I can only hope you are smiling
through some happy tears
as I am at thoughts of you~

the spirit rejoices over what it has left.

this reminds me of the many tears, both glad and gloomed, that I've shed as I've gone through picture albums...
Very beautiful

This is a gently written and deeply felt sentiment. One might write such to an old and lost but not forgotten love.  What a pleasure it would be to be so thought of.
