A sailor’s light, this swollen moon, once lain upon the sea.
In wait of but a gentle push away from gravity.
To wrest the peak of shining light, an orb of Luna’s birth,
round as the eye in gleaming bright, away from mother earth.
The solar quest does find the dark, as wedding bells do ring.
For now the twain have said their vows, as angels above sing.
A shadow plucks away the light, now hid by clouds of white.
And on this date our rain born fate, no moon this moonless night.

ah beautiful...
I still wish we had some sort of a voice thing on here, so if people wanted they could record themselves reading their poem, and people could have the option to listen as they read. It'd just be nice to hear....

(smiles) Awwwwwwwww, this is gorgeous, sweet friend, I enjoyed watching the moon tonight after seeing my sisters high school play, it was marvelous seeing both events!
