Fractured filigrees of whiskey glass.
It's lonely here
with time to pass,
so many years from home,
and love,
I'm nowhere.

Icebox...I very much like the feeling of this write, and it's perfect. The sentiment is perfect.

I don't think you're nowhere, but I know where that place is myself, we just don't stay there.  I've missed reading you, just starting to catch up.  And saving this one.

I don't do the whiskey ... but I LOVE -

'Fractured filigrees'

That conjures up so many images in my mind~

It is nice, when I am not able to sleep (like tonight) to come in here and read a poem such as this........ :-)
The poem is lyrical, and although it is a great short song, I seem to want more....but that might weaken the impact, so I will just hum along with it as it is...

awwwww comeon folks, it's Friday, Yippeee, that outa account for somethin? NO?  Ok, Ok, I'll sit down and shut my mouth

But...you are somewhere and always will be...and you've written significant words, communicating art...sound...synergy, you are the rhyme of us....the beginning of tomorrows...you are the mint in my tea
the light in the sky!  You are the sail on a tall ship...and the wings on the wind...so, cheer up...and lets get jiggy with it....

(big hugggsssssss) This is sad but well-written, sweet friend, now gaze up from the glass and out beyond the window and go on home! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Oh, stop contemplating your navel, for crying-out-loud.  You are everywhere!
