I was old before I was born never felt infancy before it was wrenched from essence thrown headlong into anomalous adulthood left a bystander to innocence through my children's eyes I see a compassionate world for my eyes have grown weary from anguish and regret elderly soul within a younger form anticipative observation feeding fanciful pigeons in the park in my frail mind reflecting on how I was old before I was born. |

unfortunately I think way too many of us had to "grow up too soon". You put it very well. Like this bunches... Do songs on the radio sing to all the fools in love? |

Yes Brad...perhaps you are an old soul. Some of us are born that way.. others thrown headfirst into responsibility. Excellent write. Hugs~ ~Time has cast a spell on you, |
