Rain and Rainbows

The rain has washed the dust of day
And made a rainbow in the stay
Playing cupid in the sky
Placing treasure in its lie

Misting gently o’er the green
Making wiles and gentle dream
Crystal vapors pouring flow
All the buds to flowers grow.

Feel the rain upon your skin
Let it play your lanolin
Sooth you to a childish glee
Let it wash your eyes to see.

Let it drink and let it sink
Let it form a living link
Let it weave a shawl of lace
Let it wash your lovely face.

It will clean you through and through
Let it coup you, to renew.

I'll take a bucket of that rain,
and a slide of that rainbow, please.

Aw Sy, you've got me smiling my morning awake.

Thank you.

Good morning Seymour. Very well done. Your too cheerful for me though...grumble, grumble! Dang morning people! Oh wait there is that time zone change between us...and the fact I don't get home from work 'til 12:30 AM most mornings here...oh yeah add to that I have had only had 3 hours but in 20 minutes I have to take my 6 year old daughter to school. No wonder I am a grouch! LOL! Just kidding my friend...about being a grouch that is. The poem is great. Love the meter, love the message. Excellent job my friend.

(smiles) Oh Seymour, sadly we don't get many rainbows here in Colorado because...well...we get little rain, but when I was in Ireland, I got to see a mahnificent seraphic double one! (big hugggssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, it was literally bursting right through me, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I liked this one for its flow and simplicity.
