talk feathers
tickle tongue
the throat
can feel the presence of a hair
emission
at the fork in road
wheels to spin
the rubber laid
tomorrow all debt will be paid
should tonight reveal the star
chariots of thoughtlessness
talk feathers...
she tried not to cough.

simplify and stitch, my dear!
construction of a roman shade
dangling the beads again
before me in my cynic seat.
just a double dose of dread
labored thick through want of eye
licked
and twirled
I grabbed it quick
triumphant in my hand at play--
squinting for the light of sky
through the micro rabbit hole--
no bother now to find the end
and make a knot to keep things wrapped--

I was never good at that.

Here's my queen.
I now concede.
I slam the bell impatiently.

A lowered eye and nod of head.
You win. Good game...

play again?

there is no one else

that can do this...

when you want to...
you can blow everyone else out of these blue waters
and swim in the sea...alone with the music

and I sweep my arm across the board
scattering the pieces across the room
there is no more chess

there is only
Go

Oh, I  hate when I lose my queen...the king is so useless...

Love you Karen!

#1 must read of the day! Love this serenity blaze. I'll have you a go at a game of chess. I made not be a grand master...but I do play well. I just got a brand new set with the characters from the Lord of the Rings movies as the pieces. LOL! I own ten chess boards. Call me a junkie! Let's play!

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!

Enjoyed this, Karen.  You are making me think quite early on a Sunday morning.  But that's a good thing.
